Quilts
Using your precious clothing items, have a quilt constructed by Mama Spin. Cotton quilt fabic is added in strips between clothing squares to give the blanket stability and have a beautiful quilt appearance. Batting is used between back and top layers for warmth. Backing is 100% cotton. Prices include all materials and labor. Shipping available for additional charge. Email for more information.

How do I order my bear?
Select the product "custom made teddy bear". Then put the quantity you are ordering in your shopping cart. There is a place on the order to tell us what to monogram on the foot. Monogramming choices are a heart, a name, or a short phrase. It will be on the right foot of the bear. Once you have checked out and paid, email Orders@mamaspin.com to arrange for shipment or delivery of your clothing items. You can select delivery or pick up in North Andover, MA. Email to discuss if you want the shirt fabric for head, a brown head or a white head.
How long does it take?
Turn around time depends upon current orders. Bears can be turned around in one to two weeks if necessary, but please try to give us as much lead time as possible. Also if it's for a special gift/date, please let us know so we can make that happen.
What works well for a bear?
For infant clothing, we suggest size 12 mos and up. The more fabric you can provide, the better options we will have in designing it. In other words, don't provide a baby item that is short sleeves and short pants. For adult clothing, we can work with most fabrics, even leather, fur and silk. Fabrics that have stretch will make a squishy bear, and those that don't have stretch will make a more tailored bear, but still soft to squeeze.
Is there a choice for the head fabric?
Yes. You have three choices. You can use the fabric from the clothing you provide, or you can choose a white head or a brown head. After ordering on the site, email Mama to discuss your preferences.
